That Aggregate Post is Playing My Song

So I'm gone for a couple of days and everyone is kicking my ass in the linky-love department. It's as if the linky-love fest has gone all Sadie Hawkins and I'm late to the dance. Well, like the King says, less conversation, more action. Wanna dance?

The Reaganite Republican who is always generous with his aggregate posts continues to overlook my lax and include yours truly because he's cool like that. Plus James always has some good Sunday funnies If we don't laugh, we'll cry.

Pat in Shreveport continues the coverage crusade on all things oil spill related. That is one woman I wouldn't want to piss off. Ever. She's a renaissance woman who appreciates a time out and a good harvest while at the same time kicking more ass using her keyboard than Obama's managed to do in his entire lifetime thus far. I'm guessing there's an Annie Oakley in her family tree somewhere.

Andy remembers his great grandmother — a sweet tribute. Family trees and old photos make for some great true life stories.

Asher Embry (who was probably a Bard in a past life) 'pens' another political verse regarding administrative support for Nobama's love of the links.

Carol at No Sheeples Here is always good at calling out our administrative Slacker-in-chief. Pretty much any post at this site is chock full of common sense conservative snark and astute observations. And while Carol and I share a similar disdain for soccer aka boring, at least she watched, rooting for good ol' Team USA. I'd love to see those World Cup fanatics try and pull that vuvuzela crap at a real football game.

Bluepitbull could use some prayers. We've all been there in some capacity and it sucks.

Somebody needs to tell Shife to lay off the softball now that he's hit the big 4-0. It just isn't pretty.

Innominatus immortalizes Sadie in a dog-blog spectacular. Love the pictures!

Left Coast Rebel is more of a cat person (same here).

Meanwhile Kristin and cotton do not seem to get along but that didn't stop her from taking a trip to Andersonville to check out some civil war history.

Landshark5150 gives us something to think about including a list 50 statistics regarding the U.S. economy that prove to be quite eye-opening if not a tad morbid.

The Lonely Conservative has a highlight reel of Chris 'Tingle' Matthews confusion. He can't tell the difference between a suicide bomber and a republican.

Maggie's Notebook shines the spotlight on another ghost from Obama's not so distant past.

Conservative Scalawag offers a lesson from reality. Better to have one and not need it than need it and not have it.

Opus#6 at MAInfo posts some Destin beach (FL) oil spill footage that has me wondering a) why folks are letting their kids play in the surf and b) if Tony Hayward has children. In the same vein as Asher Embry, Opus is blogger who appreciates a good verse.

Mean ol' Meany's 'Sunday Funnies' post is anything but. If you're in the mood for a good aggregate rant, this would be the post to read.

Miss T.C. Shore publishes a Letter to the Editor explaining the difference between yesteryear's immigrant and today's.

Mind-Numbed Robot has been on a Ten Buck Friday crusade as well as developing his own brand of shwag. I'm not a t-shirt person but this one might change my mind. It's all the fashion rage.

RightKlik has a fresh poll regarding the Ten Buck Friday votes and participants. Get educated!

After a righteous rant, Bob Belvedere, Rule Five King finds he may have a second career as a dj advising us all to enjoy a 'little breather'.

Lord Wellbourne is back! The internet sparkles a bit brighter now.

And finally...

The Other McCain continues to be the ultimate source of some of the best shoe-leather news. Go get you some!

That about wraps up this late Sunday night aggregate edition of Corndog. The chaperones are yawning and my feet are tired. Good night bloggers!

  12. Please nominate Patricia Sullivan, Conservative Republican, for Congress in the 8th Congressional District, Fl.for Ten Buck Fridays. The seat is currently held by Alan Grayson. Patricia, being the only Republican to qualify for the ballot by petition and a real peoples grass roots candidate is the one to beat him. To do so she needs all the financial support your contacts can muster in order to make her message heard. Can you help??

    Thank You,

    George
